NOW LOOKING FOR NEW PLAYERS FOR 2015-16 SEASON.
We’re looking for new players to join our teams, as well as volunteers to help coordinate the club activities and get involved. Whether you’re Under 5 or Over 55, a serious athlete or just looking for a new way to exercise or help out in your community, there’s plenty of opportunity to train, play and socialize with us. Find out more below…
For Under 18s
We run a hugely popular Junior Hockey ‘Rhinos’ Academy at Bromsgrove School on Sunday mornings 9.30-11.00am. For youths aged 5-16, developing skills through their school years before establishing themselves in the Badgers and Adult teams.
Our Badgers Hockey is a great introduction for Under 18s into Adult hockey. Training is at Bromsgrove School, as part of the Sunday Academy 9.30-11.00am as well as on a week night everyTuesday 7.00-8.00pm.
For Over 14s
Our Adults teams train weekday evenings, we’re currently working on a new training schedule at our new home pitch in Aston Fields, Bromsgrove – watch this space! We offer both Men’s Hockey and Ladies Hockey teams who play league hockey on Saturdays. We also offer ‘Back to Hockey’ training programmes for adult Men and Ladies who want to take up the sport no matter what your experience level is.
For something a little less demanding there’s Rush Hockey, played Monday nights 9.00-10.00pm indoors at Bromsgrove’s Ryland Centre. It’s a smaller pitch, less players and just the right mix of game play and fitness for any new or experienced players.
For the fun of it
Bromsgrove Hockey Club encourages off the pitch participation too.
We host many social evenings for youth and adult members throughout the year including Bingo and Quiz nights, Christmas and End of Season parties and more.
If you’re not sure where to start or how to get involved visit our pages for full information about the teams, training and who to get in touch with.
