Taking a young U14 squad Bromsgrove faced a larger, experienced and older Edgbaston side in the Tier 2 EH competition.

Within 5 minutes Bromsgrove attacked down the wing and took an opening lead, only to be levelled quickly. The first half continued in a similar fashion with Bromsgrove taking the lead only for Edgbaston to score on the counter with the half time score being 7-5 to Bromsgrove. The second half continued as the first with end to end hockey and no side dominating or stretching a lead. With 5 minutes to go, Bromsgrove were still a goal ahead but Edgbaston continued to press our goal hard and managed to equalise in the last two minutes.

Lots of positives to take away with the number of chances this young side created and with some further work at training and the additional of some of our older players in this age group, the future looks bright.
