What's on offer

Weekly training is available September-April whether participants wish to play competitively or are just looking for the opportunity to improve fitness and skills.

Our Adults section boasts 6 Ladies and 5 Mens Squads playing league hockey on Saturdays which means we have a team to suit every level of player, from novices to higher performing members.

We also have a Mixed performance squad and Masters' teams (previously known as 'Veterans' or 'Vets' Hockey) who all take part in 'freindlies' as well as EH Championship Competitions.

Our Junior Section caters to players of all levels, from ages 4-18 years old. We provide dedicated age-group training and regular competitive playing opportunities. We also have a comprehensive Junior Pathway to ensure progression for our more aspiring young players.

Throughout the year we also offer other introductory programs of hockey including Adults Back to Hockey, In2Indoor Hockey, Junior Holiday Camps and we have a full schedule of activities over the Summer months too.

You can also check out Walking Hockey for the same sport at a slower pace.

Our History

Established in 1890, Bromsgrove Hockey Club has a rich history in the local area.

We are part of the wider Bromsgrove Cricket, Hockey and Tennis Cub (BCHTC) which has been based at our grounds in Aston Fields since the early 70s.

Our fantastic Astro4All pitch opened in 2016 bringing hockey home to the club.

Our volunteers are currently archiving information so we're hoping to be able to add a more detailed history here very soon.
